The Stanley Cup was on display at Kennedy Space Center’s Rocket Garden at 11 am EST. The Stanley Cup was awarded to the Boston Bruins after winning the 2011 National Hockey League (NHL) Championship. According to NHL tradition, owners and coaches are awarded 24 hours to spend with the cup.
Chairman and CEO Jeremy Jacobs is using his allocate time to bring it to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center for employee photographs.
The Stanley Cup visited the Rocket Garden, NASA Central, and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville.
