Mardi Gras float made ripping LSU after championship

Guess what is worse than getting shut out in a BCS National Championship game? Having a Mardi Gras float dedicated to the entire game where everything went wrong.

This parade took place on Friday evening and displayed all signs ripping on LSU for their lack of production in the Allstate BCS Championship Game. The group that put this float together is called “Le Krewe d’Etat”. Apparently this organization is known for making fun of everyone possible.

  7. this float should have been escorted to the nearest Bayou and sunken. Teabaggers will not be laughing when they leave BR on 11/3/2012!!!

  8. It was a New Orleans parade, not Mobile or any other Alabama location. I always find it funny – if LSU wins and then gloats (kinda like after November 5, 2011 game), it is okay. Someone beats LSU and gloats back the LSU fans get defensive. The old adage, what is good for the goose is good for the gander doesn’t apply to LSU fans. We lost the game on November 5, 2011 and you lost the game on January 9, 2012 – deal with it. Don’t like the teasers? Win next time.

    • Mardi Gras is not very fun, there is lots of drinking, ppeloe are getting fat by eating king cake(more then 2000 caloris each, not joking) and finally all the plastic beads after coming from China are though into land fills.

  9. This is a real float, but it was not made by Bama fans. It was created by the krewe – many of the members are LSU fans who wanted to capture local frustration. As others have posted, Krewe d’Tat skewers Louisiana scandals and politics in uprorious and sometimes rude fashion.

  10. Le Krewe d’teat is a real New Orleans Carnival organization that is known for satire. For example, they threw beads with a record on it….the label read “50 ways to leave your lover” by Gary Condit…

This float was made by New Orleanians and LSU fans to capture everyone’s frustration with Les Miles…this is NOT, I repeat NOT a product of someone from Alabama…

    • No way. Mardi Gras started in New Orleans and it’s been a part of the totdiairn and heritage of the people for centuries. They have tried to simulate Mardi Gras all over the country, but I promise you that it doesn’t even compare. It’s a HUGE deal down here.

    • I bet that burns y’all up. You know, like how we stole your big deal Mardi Gras, invited all your friends, and made it ours. That’d really hurt my feelings, too.

      Yeah. Sorry ’bout that.
