Texas A&M isn’t very good at geography

The Texas A&M Aggies created a shirt to celebrate being in the SEC but the only problem is that they aren’t very good at geography. They put North Carolina on the map which doesn’t happen to field an SEC team. This mistake combined with that fact that they didn’t even put Texas on the front of the shirt make it laughable.

The website selling the shirt says…

Aggies are definitely not new to football and this shirt reinstates that we are here in the SEC to dominate and devastate! This maroon tee is sure to intimidate our competitors while standing in the stands watching our Aggies score those touchdowns, one after another.

  1. Aggies are insecure morons who have never gotten much right. They are UT’s little whiney arse brother. The kid who couldn’t measure up so they left. What a bunch of Sheep humping retards.

  2. Just a head’s up, we aggies already took care of the problem. These shirts aren’t for sale at Aggieland Outfitters. They are being reprinted.

  3. This T Shirt was created by a local sportswear company. It was not created by Texas A&M University, the football team, or any other University organization.

  4. How have you all missed the fact that Missouri is missing? Can’t make fun of someone if you don’t know it either.

  5. Are you sure they aren’t poking fun at mizzou? I.e unc is more deserving than a rival mizzou? Also they didn’t include themselves because they are on the back of the shirt…….

  8. Aggies, as always, paint themselves into the corner and then blame someone else for building the walls. So glad they’ve gone to the S.E.C. Time will tell, but I think they’re gonna pay a heavy price for this rash move!

  9. Messing up on a t-shirt is NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL. One silly shirt, that is not produced by the university or affiliated with any of its departments at all, does not make a whole student body or a university stupid. You all need to realize that there are bigger issues in the world than the misprint of one shirt. Instead of investing time in this story, why not follow Iceland’s ongoing protest, or inform yourself about the attacks in Afghanistan or the situation in Syria?

    • Because it is way more fun to watch Aggie crap their pants, and blame it on someone else when people start noticing. And I couldn’t care less about Iceland.

    • Fair point, but global, political issues are not the focus of this website. What the website chooses to make a big deal out of it the prerogative of the owner/updater and by responding you’ve made it a bigger deal. If it’s no big deal, then let it be no big deal. Let people say what they’re going to say. No one is going to love your school the way your fellow alums will, so let them do their thing. Water off a duck’s back. Anyway, if a shirt is the best they’ve got, then they don’t have much.

  10. This was made by a stupid local company that is known for making ass-tarded shirts like the t2005 – Gig’Em Horns crap. The same company that was sued by both A&M and Texas for using logos without licensing agreements. They never got one from Austin, but they did for A&M.

For those of you who don’t understanding licensing agreements, they pay a flat fee to the university, can print what they want, but the university reserves the right to recall any items, such as this pile of stupidity.

Fingers should be pointed at Fadi Kalaouze the owner not the university.

    • What you fail to mention is that the local sportswear compnay is owned by an Aggie alum and his Aggie alum wife. Nice try Ag. Why else would anyone open a business in that craphole of a town colleyville.

Just accept the fact that you are and always will be the laughingstock of college athletics. Keep adding more fuel to the fire though. Pretty soon it may be big enough to call it a bonfire.

From the local sportswear companies website:

Howdy! -That is what you’ll hear when you enter any of our Aggieland Outfitters stores. What you’ll see is a smiling face, and what you’ll get is great service. Plus the very best Aggie apparel and gifts in Aggieland is our guarantee to you.

Since the very beginning, Aggieland Outfitters has taken great pride in providing unique and high quality Aggie apparel and gifts to our customers. We offer exceptional customer service and convenient locations. And like any Aggie we pride ourselves on our Spirit to always do our very best.

What is today’s Aggieland Outfitters all began with a young Aggie’s struggle to support himself through school in the late 1980’s. He soon found that he could design and sell T-shirts to Aggie fans on campus and thus began what has grown into a flourishing retail operation right here in Aggieland. Following his graduation from A&M in 1991, he and his wife (fellow Aggie, class of 1990) opened an Aggie T-shirt store in Post Oak Mall in College Station called Inspirations – a store that is as popular with Aggies of all ages today as it was when it first opened nearly twenty years ago.

Eager to grow their business, and with a hunch that there might be a need for an Aggie specialty gifts and apparel store catering to those who love the Maroon and White, the couple opened their first Aggieland Outfitters store in Post Oak Mall in College Station in 2002. The first location was followed a few years later by a website (AO12.com) and a second retail location on George Bush drive in an area of Aggieland affectionately known to as “Southgate”. A third location in College Stations was opened on University Drive in 2010 with plans to expand that location to a Flagship store sometime in the near future.

  11. As a proud classless clown from Lubbock I say this shirt says it all. The Aggies are as dumb as they are portrayed to be. The best Aggie joke ever is they believe they will be successful and they belong in the SEC! Glad to see them go, sad we won’t have them to laugh at anymore.

  12. This T-Shirt is the funniest I have seen since the Aggies joined the SEC. Maybe there is a SEC that we don’t know about that includes these states? Try “Self Evident Correction.”

  13. “This maroon tee is sure to intimidate our competitors while standing in the stands watching our Aggies score those touchdowns, one after another.”

Not sure who’s doing the standing and watching in this sentence, but I am at least grateful that the touchdowns will be scored sequentially and not all at once.
