According to Mike Farrell of Rivals.com, Carl Lawon was sent home (not left due to high school rules) from an event called “The Opening” hosted by Nike. According to Rivals.com, Carl Lawson is a defensive end from Alpharetta, Gerogia and has committed to Auburn. The guys over at @SolidVerbal remarked “War Damn Trouble!” which I found hilarious and a take off of their slogan “War Damn Eagle”.

“The Opening” is an event that recruits are invited to in order to perform different tests so they can be evaulated. There is also a 7 on 7 event. Apparently, Lawson was kicked out for “disrespectful behavior”. Lawson is ranked as the number 1 weakside defensive end in the country. He has offers from almost every SEC school and most high profile schools. The message boards are all over this one. We’ll continue to monitor the situation.
