An SEC coach allegedly wrote this to a recruit

After checking the email address, I found this in the inbox. I cleaned it up and cropped out some information that would give away who sent it in. They wanted to remain anonymous. According to the tipster, this was written by an SEC coach. The key parts of this note include:

This info shows you how far away from Miam other cities/schools in your top 5 are… It also shows you how many black people live in the cities where these schools are…

We can probably assume Miam is short for Miami because the picture was cropped off. Also, the note says that it “shows you how many black people live in the cities where these schools are”. Are you kidding me? A coach wrote this to a recruit? Wow. The recruit’s high school coach accidentally tweeted this letter and immediately deleted it according to the tipster. The tipster said the name of the recruits high school coach was REDACTED. I received this in my email:

The coach is the uncle of a current D1 player likely to be selected top 3 rounds. The letter was sent by an SEC coach to a prospect coached by the picture taker.

According to some searching REDACTED goes by REDACTED on Twitter and looks to be a high school coach. We don’t know if it’s an SEC head coach, an assistant head coach, or if this is all bad information.
