According to @BenLoveTSD, this is the cover of the Fayetteville, Arkansas newspaper that shows an LSU Mike The Tiger mascot sitting next to an Arkansas Razorback that is covered in casts and completely beat up. This is obviously meant as a metaphor for Arkansas’ lackluster season with quarterback Tyler Wilson and Arkansas Razorback Head Coach John L. Smith.

Of course, a lot of Arkansas fans think Jon Gruden of Monday Night Football will be there next coach but so do Tennessee Volunteer fans. I think neither option comes to fruition. LSU comes in at 9-2 and is ranked 7th in the BCS Standings. Arkansas has lost enough games where they can’t be found on that list and it’s a good assumption that head coach John L. Smith will not be returning.

LSU and Arkansas face off today at 2:30 PM EST for the rivalry game called “The Battle of the Boot.”
