The 3 star rated quarterback Luke Del Rio, son of Jack Del Rio, will be a walk on to the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. He chose to walk on at Bama instead of taking scholarship offers from schools such as UCLA and Oklahoma State.
That really speaks volumes for where Alabama’s program is as of now. They will face Notre Dame for the BCS National Championship to try and be be back to back BCS National Champions.
Quarterback AJ McCarron has already announced he will be back for his senior season next year. The QB battle after McCarron leaves will be an intense one.
