We’ve had some student athletes commit some pretty stupid crimes in the offseason. A Georgia student athlete stole a hash brown and Erving Walker stole a 3 dollar taco. Well, we can add another dumb theft to two West Virginia Mountaineer players.

Darwin Cook and Terrence Garvin allegedly stole some Gatorade and some snacks from a store called “Sheetz” in Morgantown, West Virginia. They both face misdermeanor charges for theft of three bottles of Gatorade, two bags of pretzels, and two bags of Doritos.

According to wvmetronews.com, the incident occurred on April 12th and arrest warrants were obtained on April 25th.

Head Coach Dana Holgorsen addressed the situation…

I have been made aware of the situation and am gathering the facts at this time. When all the facts are in, I will take the appropriate action.

We will see if this causes a suspension for Cook or Gavin.

The infamous unassisted triple is a rare occurrence in Major League Baseball. According to Deadspin, it’s only been done 15 times in MLB history. Well this little leaguer just showed all you professional baseball players getting paid millions of dollars how it’s done.

Someone in Denver put up a billboard with Tebow’s old jersey on it making the phrase “15 minutes of fame”. 15 is of course Tebow’s number so it is a clever play on words. Tebow was traded to the New York Jets for a 4th round pick once Peyton Manning was acquired by the Broncos.

A brawl broke out at the Bulls-76ers playoff game

A mini brawl broke out during the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers playoff game when Taj Gibson and Elton Brand went for a loose ball. This all went down in front of Chicago’s bench. Elbows were thrown and there may be some suspensions dealt if David Stern feels the need to. Chicago would be in serious trouble without Gibson, Noah, and Rose.
