During the Seattle Seahawks – Washington Redskins game, Erin Andrews was on the sideline reporting for FOX. In the background, a lady in a Jason Campbell jersey did a dancing turnaround while Erin Andrews was doing a hair flip. It’s been a weekend full of college football and NFL playoffs. Just a perfectly timed moment that will go down in sports history.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, UF has been named the top party school of the decade. They even cite that Erin Andrews being an alumnus helped the University of Florida gain this honor. I’m sure Urban Meyer and the Florida Gator football team had a lot to do with this one. Winning BCS National Championships in 2006 and 2008 definitely helped secure this award.
The site’s rankings were based on sports success, alcohol consumption, placement on annual party-school lists, and the size of the school’s fraternity and sorority system. The list cited the Gators’ national championships and devoted football fans. UF alumna Erin Andrews also was mentioned.
I also may take some credit for this being a former club owner in the city of Gainesville from 2007-2009. You’re welcome UF. The fraternity and sorority systems helped because UF has an intricate network of them.
Penn State University came in second. The rest of the top 10: University of Mississippi, University of Wisconsin, Ohio University, University of Colorado, Arizona State University, University of Georgia, University of Texas and University of California.
